Grave Decisions

In the Upper Bavarian village of Germringen, eleven-year-old Sebastian (Markus Krojer) is sure he killed his mother the day he was born. He figures good deeds might shorten his sentence in purgatory, so he sets out to find a wife for his father Lorenz (Fritz Karl). Marcus H. Rosenmüller sends Lorenz toward Veronika (Jule Ronstedt), Sebastian's schoolteacher, who is already married, and the boy's plan puts his father's heart at risk.
