Graveyard of Honor

Rikuo Ishimatsu (Goro Kishitani) tends bar and wants a place inside the yakuza, so when he saves a boss's life he finally gets one. Takashi Miike, remaking Kinji Fukasaku's 1975 film about a real gangster, follows him up through the organization as people begin to notice he is afraid of nothing. That fearlessness is what the men above him cannot use, and it puts every one of them in his way.
