“He's got the boogie on his fingers & the hubba-hubba in his soul!”

Jesse (Allan Arbus) walks into the frontier with amnesia, healing the sick, raising the dead and tap dancing across water. Robert Downey Sr. sets this retelling of the life of Christ in the New Mexican desert, where Seaweedhead Greaser (Albert Henderson) rules his palace. Cholera (Luana Anders) and the Indian Girl (Toni Basil) cross Jesse's path, and each of them wants his help from a stranger who can't recall his own name.
