Great Freedom
In post-war Germany, the Allies have liberated the camps, but Paragraph 175 still makes loving men a crime. Hans Hoffmann (Franz Rogowski) is jailed under it again and again across the decades, and Sebastian Meise follows him through the cells, as he shares them with Viktor (Georg Friedrich). The film is about what a person will hold onto when the state keeps taking his freedom.
