Brandon Burlsworth (Christopher Severio) is a heavy kid from a small town who wants one thing, a spot on the Arkansas Razorbacks, though no one thinks he has the size or speed to earn it. His brother Marty (Neal McDonough) is in his corner, while Coach Ford (M.C. Gainey) is far harder to convince. David Hunt ends on The Farmer (Nick Searcy), who watches the walk-on at the edge of the story.
