Green Snake

(2021)Directed by Amp Wong132 minAnimation, Fantasy, Action, Adventure
“Dependence arises from the previous life.”

Xiao Qing (Tang Xiaoxi) wants her sister back, and she has gone looking for her after Fahai took her away. The search drops her into a dystopian city, where she meets a masked man (Zhang Fuzheng) who cannot remember who he used to be. Amp Wong, directing this sequel to the 2019 film White Snake, fills the frames with dense, crowded color.
