“One goal. A second chance.”

Sean Porter (Dwayne Johnson), a counselor at a juvenile detention center, starts a football team from among the teenagers locked up there. Phil Joanou follows the 1990 Kilpatrick Mustangs season as Porter pushes boys who have never been part of anything to play as one team, with Malcolm Moore (Xzibit) working beside him. Porter has staked his job and his reputation on the idea, and the boys have no one else to lose.
