“There is a Fate Worse Than Death”

A gang of punks breaks into a family's vacation home in the mountains and slaughters nearly everyone inside. Lisa (Linda Blair) and her brother Rod (Tab Hunter) are among the family, and one daughter, Kathy (Donna Wilkes), gets out into the snow. Joe Tornatore films it at Big Bear Lake with cheap, harsh lighting and long stretches of dead quiet between the attacks.
