“Black is the new big.”

Lemuel Gulliver (Jack Black) is a mailroom clerk at a New York newspaper who talks his way into a travel-writing job in Bermuda, mostly to impress Darcy Silverman (Amanda Peet). His boat ends up on the island of Liliput, where he towers over its tiny citizens, including King Theodore (Billy Connolly) and Princess Mary (Emily Blunt). Rob Letterman, making his live-action debut, takes Jonathan Swift's 1726 novel and sets it in the present day.
