Guncrazy

“Love made them crazy. Guns made them outlaws.”

Why would a teenager in a California town write to a convict and then wait for his answer? Anita (Drew Barrymore) lives with a mother who is rarely there and Rooney (Joe Dallesandro), her mother's boyfriend, and a school pen-pal project puts her in touch with Howard (James Le Gros). Tamra Davis sets their story against the rooms Anita grows up in, and it ends on a gun in her hands.
