Hachiko
“Love between a dog and his master. A story of devotion, which transcends time and space.”
In Japan in the 1920s, Professor Ueno (Tatsuya Nakadai) brings home an Akita puppy named Hachikō, and the dog soon follows him to the train station each morning. Seijirō Kōyama, working from a script by Kaneto Shindo, tells the true story of a dog and the man he waits for. Hachikō keeps his post at the station for nine years, and the waiting is all he has.
