Hail, Caesar!

“Lights. Camera. Abduction.”

Eddie Mannix (Josh Brolin) is the fixer at a 1950s Hollywood studio, the man who spends his days smoothing over scandals before they reach the papers. When Baird Whitlock (George Clooney), the star of a biblical epic, vanishes mid-shoot, Eddie has to find him while a dozen other productions keep demanding his attention. The Coens treat the studio as a place where everyone is acting, on camera and off, and where the lines between the two run thin.
