Halam Geldi
Reyhan (Miray Akay) is thirteen and living in Akıncılar, a frontier hamlet on the Cyprus border where the call to prayer and the church bells of the Greek village of Limya sound in the same air. She and two other thirteen-year-old girls share a path they did not pick, and it runs through the custom of child brides. Erhan Kozan keeps the naturalistic performances close and unhurried, letting the village carry the story.
