Halloween

“The night he came home!”

Laurie (Jamie Lee Curtis) is a quiet high-school student in Haddonfield, Illinois, who babysits on Halloween night while her friends Annie (Nancy Kyes) and Lynda (P. J. Soles) make plans of their own. Fifteen years after killing his sister, Michael Myers has escaped from a mental hospital, and Dr. Loomis (Donald Pleasence) is driving toward the town. Carpenter keeps the focus on Laurie and her friends, whose ordinary evening gets watched by someone they cannot see.
