Hamlet

A ghost has been seen on the walls of Elsinore, and it wears the face of the dead king. Hamlet (Innokentiy Smoktunovskiy) is called to hear what it wants, in a castle that Grigori Kozintsev built from a real stone fortress in Estonia. Claudius (Mikhail Nazvanov) now sits on the throne and shares the bed of Gertrude (Elza Radziņa), and Hamlet must find the truth while everyone watches.
