Hamlet 2

“One high school drama teacher is about to make a huge number 2.”

Nobody in Tucson can explain why a high school drama teacher believes Shakespeare's Hamlet needs a sequel, least of all the students he drafts into it. Dana Marschz (Steve Coogan), a failed actor, conceives and stages the musical anyway, with Octavio (J. J. Soria) and Epiphany Sellars (Phoebe Strole) among the cast. Andrew Fleming plays it deadpan, and the film puts a sincere, loud faith in bad art as a way for people to be heard.
