Hamlet

“To be, or not to be?”

Hamlet (David Tennant) is a prince in mourning, a young man whose father has died and whose mother has already married his uncle, Claudius (Patrick Stewart). Gregory Doran films the Royal Shakespeare Company's modern-dress production as a television drama, with Ophelia (Mariah Gale) and Polonius (Oliver Ford Davies) watching him closely. Tennant plays him quick and jumpy, and often funny, a man who cannot stand still in a house that expects him to grieve quietly.
