Hammaam in Amsterdam

Hammaam (Mohamed Henedi) is out of work, living with his big family in a crowded Egyptian alley, and he loses his girl to a rich suitor. He flies to Amsterdam to find the uncle who emigrated long ago, then loses his money and passport and gets beaten at an inn. Saeed Hamed follows him through failure and the young Arabs who take him in, and the film comes down to what a man owes the people he left behind.
