Hammamet

Bettino Craxi (Pierfrancesco Favino), once Prime Minister of Italy and head of the Socialist Party, now lives in Hammamet, Tunisia, having fled corruption charges at home. Gianni Amelio follows his final years there, with Craxi surrounded by his wife, his son, and his daughter (Livia Rossi). The film shows how a man who ran a country spends his days when all that is left to govern is his own house.
