Hamnet

“Keep your heart open.”

Agnes (Jessie Buckley) is a young woman in Stratford-upon-Avon who lives close to the land and to her own instincts, and she marries Will (Paul Mescal), a quiet Latin tutor with a head full of words. Chloé Zhao follows the two of them into family life, and then into the death of their 11-year-old son, Hamnet (Jacobi Jupe). Agnes has to carry that loss through the same house, and the play that Will writes comes out of it.
