Hana

In a poor district of Edo, a young samurai named Soza (Junichi Okada) lives among the neighbors, teaching the local children how to write. His clan has sent him to avenge his father's death, but he is no accomplished swordsman, and he would sooner stay where he is. Hirokazu Kore-eda follows Soza as he finds the man he has been hunting and has to decide whether he follows the way of the samurai.
