Hangmen Also Die!

“The shot heard 'round the world!”

Dr. Franticek Svoboda (Brian Donlevy) is a Czech surgeon who has just killed Heydrich, the Nazi "Hangman of Europe," and now needs somewhere to hide with a bullet wound. History professor Stephen Novotny (Walter Brennan) takes him in, and his daughter Masha (Anna Lee) is pulled in alongside him. Fritz Lang sets the three of them under one roof in occupied Prague, strangers bound by what they now share.
