Hannah and Her Sisters

Elliot (Michael Caine) is married to Hannah (Mia Farrow), the steady sister everyone in the family leans on, and he cannot stop thinking about her sister Lee (Barbara Hershey). Woody Allen follows the family across two years, from one Thanksgiving dinner to the next, with Hannah's ex-husband Mickey (Allen) circling back toward her other sister, Holly (Dianne Wiest). Under the holiday talk, the sisters keep measuring what each owes the other.
