Hannah Arendt
“Her ideas changed the world”
Hannah Arendt (Barbara Sukowa) persuades The New Yorker to send her to Jerusalem to cover the trial of the Nazi Adolf Eichmann. What she writes afterward sets off a scandal, and friends and enemies turn on her at once. Margarethe von Trotta keeps her close to Heinrich Blücher (Axel Milberg), her husband, who stays beside her as the letters and the anger pile up.
