Hannibal Rising

“It started with revenge.”

What turns a Lithuanian boy who watched hungry soldiers do the unthinkable into the man who will later eat his victims? Hannibal Lecter (Gaspard Ulliel) goes to France as a medical student, where Lady Murasaki (Gong Li) teaches him sword skills and Inspector Popil (Dominic West) starts to take notice. Peter Webber follows him as Hannibal hones his appetite for the kill, and each step takes more out of the young man who began as a grieving child.
