Happy Endings

“All's well that ends swell.”

Mamie (Lisa Kudrow) gave up a baby for adoption almost twenty years ago, and she has never stopped wondering what became of him. Nicky (Jesse Bradford), a young filmmaker, offers to find the boy, while her stepbrother Charley (Steve Coogan) and his boyfriend Gil chase down the sperm Gil once donated to a lesbian couple. Don Roos braids these Los Angeles stories into one film, the structure that gave "hyperlink cinema" its name.
