Happy Family

Ezio (Fabio De Luigi), a screenwriter stuck on his latest script, is trying to write about two mismatched families whose teenage children, Marta (Alice Croci) and Caterina (Valeria Bilello), announce they are getting married. He gives himself a romantic part in the story, and his characters start asking for bigger roles of their own. Gabriele Salvatores, borrowing from Pirandello's Six Characters in Search of an Author, stages the whole thing with a theatrical eye.
