Happy Feet

“Everybody dance now!”

Every emperor penguin in Antarctica finds a soulmate through song, so when Mumble (Elijah Wood) hatches without a singing voice, nobody knows what to make of him. What he has instead is a pair of feet that tap out a fast, bouncing rhythm on the ice, and the colony, his own parents included, treats it as an embarrassment. George Miller sets Mumble's clattering steps against the huge white plain, a small dark shape moving and the rest of the colony standing still.
