Happyend

“Something big is about to change.”

Everyone in this near-future Japanese city knows a devastating earthquake is coming, and no one can say when. Yūta (Hayato Kurihara) and Kō (Yukito Hidaka) are high school best friends nearing graduation, close enough that the small fractures between them start to hurt. Neo Sora keeps the dread low and constant, and the film is about how much of growing up is learning that nothing lasts.
