Hard Candy

“Strangers shouldn't talk to little girls.”

Hayley Stark (Elliot Page) is a quick, self-assured fourteen-year-old who meets Jeff Kohlver (Patrick Wilson), a polished fashion photographer, after weeks of talking in an Internet chat room. They meet at a coffee shop, then she follows him home for a fashion shoot, and he thinks it's his lucky night. David Slade traps the two of them in a single house, where the question of what a man owes for the things he does stays plain and unsoftened.
