“Are His Powers More Than Magic?”
Senator Nick Rast (David Hemmings) is rising fast in politics, but he cannot save his young son, who is dying of leukemia. Then Gregory Wolfe (Robert Powell) arrives, a mysterious healer who appears to cure the boy, and Rast's wife Sandra (Carmen Duncan) is drawn to him. Simon Wincer sets this modern retelling of Rasputin inside a household where the men who made Rast's career, led by the ancient Doc Wheelan (Broderick Crawford), stand to lose everything.
