Harry & Son

“Two men with nothing in common... except the blood in their veins.”

Harry Keach (Paul Newman), a widowed construction worker, loses his job and has to start paying attention to the family he has mostly ignored. His son Howard (Robby Benson) drifts through odd jobs while trying to become a writer, and Harry has little patience for it. Newman directs and co-wrote the script, and what hangs over the two men is whether either can say what he means before the distance between them sets for good.
