Harry and the Hendersons

“When you can't believe your eyes, trust your heart.”

An animal steps into the road on the drive home from a hunting trip, and George Henderson (John Lithgow) hits it with the family car. The body turns out to be a Bigfoot, and the Hendersons, thinking it dead, strap it to the roof and carry it back to Seattle, where it wakes up in their living room. William Dear sets a gentle giant named Harry (Kevin Peter Hall) down among a father, a mother, and two kids who have no idea how to hold him.
