Harry Brown

“Every man has a breaking point.”

On a London housing estate where the underpass is a gang's territory, Harry Brown (Michael Caine) is a widowed Royal Marines veteran who spent his service in Northern Ireland. He now keeps to his flat and his chess games with his friend, until a violent gang murders the man. Daniel Barber puts an old soldier's grief next to a neighbourhood the police have stopped controlling, and asks nothing of you but to watch the two meet.
