Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) only wants a quiet year at Hogwarts with Ron (Rupert Grint) and Hermione (Emma Watson). Then the Goblet of Fire spits out his name, and he is a champion in the Triwizard Tournament, up against a dragon, water monsters and an enchanted maze, with no memory of ever entering. Mike Newell directs it as a school story first, with the spectacle arriving in between the dances and the homework.
