An orphaned boy learns on his eleventh birthday that he is a wizard and has been accepted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) arrives at the castle to find himself famous among witches and wizards for surviving a dark curse as an infant. He befriends Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint) and Hermione Granger (Emma Watson), and together they uncover a mystery hidden within the school's walls.
