Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone

“Let the magic begin.”

On his eleventh birthday, Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe), who has slept in the cupboard under his aunt and uncle's stairs for as long as he can remember, is told he is a wizard with a place waiting at Hogwarts. Chris Columbus follows him into the school, where he finds friends in Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint) and Hermione Granger (Emma Watson). Harry has never been wanted anywhere, and now he has to learn what happened to his parents.
