Haru

(1996)Directed by Yoshimitsu Morita118 minDrama, Romance

Hoshi (Eri Fukatsu) wants someone to talk to about movies, and she finds him on an online forum where a Tokyo businessman posts as Haru (Seiyo Uchino). Their back and forth e-mails turn from film talk into a closeness neither expected, and the two have not yet met. Yoshimitsu Morita, writing and directing in 1996, makes the whole story out of messages sent and waited on.
