“When you chop - Aim well! Don't slip! And just make sure - She doesn't drip!”

John Harrington (Stephen Forsyth) runs a bridal fashion house and murders young brides, hoping the killings will bring back a childhood trauma he cannot recall. His wife Mildred (Laura Betti) refuses him a divorce, and a ghost seems to follow him through his own home. Mario Bava shoots the killings in saturated color, with the camera sliding through bright rooms.
