Nightmares of a time long past send the Sorceress to summon Prince Adam (John Erwin) and his cowardly tiger Cringer to Castle Grayskull. There she hands Adam a jeweled sword and sends the pair to the planet Etheria to find out what it hides. Ed Friedman and Lou Kachivas tell it as a rescue through a world under someone else's rule, where the sword stands for the courage to fight for people who cannot do it themselves.
