Rio de Janeiro is where Alice (Ingrid Guimarães) runs her chain of sex shops, and she has worked herself into a nervous breakdown. Her husband João (Bruno Garcia) sends her to a spa, but a chance to expand the business in New York pulls her away, and she slips out to chase it while telling the family it's a trip. Roberto Santucci keeps Alice in motion, her suitcase and her excuses and her husband's patience all running out together.
