“They should have killed him.”

A young man (Iko Uwais) is carried out of the sea with a bullet wound to the head and no memory of who he is. Ailin (Chelsea Islan), the doctor who nurses him back to health, gives him the name Ishmael, though his body keeps answering to a past he can't recall. Timo Tjahjanto and Kimo Stamboel send a drug lord's men after them both, and Ishmael has only his hands to go on.
