Hear Me Out

Antoine (Pascal Elbé) teaches history at a school where the corridors are loud, and he has lately stopped hearing them. He is in his early fifties and cannot bring himself to admit it, so he withdraws into a private quiet while the people around him find his behavior stranger. Pascal Elbé also directs, and his Claire (Sandrine Kiberlain), a widow with a daughter who has stopped speaking, shows how much of closeness has never needed sound.
