Heartbeat

“Panic Beats”

Paul Marnac (Paul Naschy) brings his ailing wife Geneviève (Julia Saly) to the French countryside, to the estate where he grew up. His aunt and his cousin Julie (Frances Ondiviela) still live there, and so does the legend of Alaric de Marnac, an ancestor said to rise from the grave and butcher anyone he suspects of infidelity. Naschy directs this late entry in his own horror cycle, and he also plays the monstrous Alaric himself.
