Heartbeats

Francis (Xavier Dolan) and Marie (Monia Chokri) are best friends in Montreal until Nicolas (Niels Schneider) walks into a coffee shop, and both of them fall for him on the spot. They start competing for a man whose feelings stay unclear, a rivalry that follows them to his mother's vacation home. Dolan, who also wrote and edited it, cuts the story with fantasy sequences and confessional monologues to the camera.
