Hearts in Atlantis

“What if one of life's great mysteries moved in upstairs?”

Bobby Garfield (Anton Yelchin) is a boy growing up with his widowed mother, Liz (Hope Davis), when a stranger rents the upstairs room and brings with him a secret nobody in the house can name. Ted Brautigan (Anthony Hopkins) hires Bobby to read him the newspaper, and Scott Hicks lets that small job turn into the closest thing the boy has to a father. Bobby looks up to Ted, and what he learns from him will stay with him long after that summer is over.
