Heaven Help Us

“If God had wanted them to be angels, He would have given them wings!”

Michael Dunn (Andrew McCarthy) is sixteen and just wants to get through his first year at St. Basil's, a Catholic boys school in Brooklyn in 1965, without being noticed. He ends up with the other misfits in his class, including Rooney (Kevin Dillon). Michael Dinner follows the boys through the classroom, the church and the street, where girls like Danni (Mary Stuart Masterson) are as hard to talk to as the Brothers are to get around.
