Held for Ransom

Daniel Rye (Esben Smed), a Danish photojournalist, is taken hostage in Syria and held for 398 days, and no one outside the cell can tell if he will come home. Niels Arden Oplev follows him through captivity beside the American journalist James Foley (Toby Kebbell), while his family in Denmark scrambles to answer the ransom demand. Every day that passes shrinks the time left, and the price of a life keeps rising.
