Hellbender

“Growing Up is Hell.”

Izzy (Zelda Adams) has spent her whole life in a house in the woods with her mother (Toby Poser), who keeps her close and tells her little. They pass the days making rock music, just the two of them, until Izzy meets another teenager and starts to learn what her family has kept from her. Zelda Adams and Toby Poser, who also direct, leave the house and the trees around it unchanged, and Izzy stands at the edge of them, looking in at her mother.
