(2006)Directed by Phil Weinstein, Tad Stones77 min · PGScience Fiction, Animation, Fantasy, Action, Horror, Adventure, Thriller, TV Movie

Hellboy (Ron Perlman) is a big, cranky agent of the Bureau of Paranormal Research & Defense, sent with Liz Sherman (Selma Blair) and Abe Sapien (Doug Jones) to look into a folklore professor possessed by Japanese demons. A cursed samurai sword throws him into a world of ghosts and monsters. Phil Weinstein and Tad Stones set old Japanese legend against the Bureau's team, and the film is about how far you will go to get back to people who put up with you.
