Joy Fabregas (Kathryn Bernardo) is a Filipino domestic helper in Hong Kong who works several jobs at once and sends nearly every dollar home. Ethan Del Rosario (Alden Richards), a bartender from the same country, is drawn to her, though each of them has a different future in mind. Cathy Garcia-Molina films their city in the small hours, when two tired people can talk.
